Welcome to our blog.

Last September, I went on a trip to Thailand for a few weeks – where I spent a weekend in the capital, the never-sleeping city of Bangkok. I took this opportunity to learn more about, and immerse myself in BKK’s football culture.

My program for these 2 days were: 1, Go to the stadium and attend Thai Premier League matches in which there are no less than 6 profesionnal clubs in Bangkok. 2, go shopping at Ari Football in the Siam district to discover the lastest cleats from adidas, Nike and Mizuno, and then at the many football dealers near the National Stadium to buy 2 or 3 local shirts (actually 5 but please don’t tell to my mum). I also had the chance to kick the ball with kids on a playground behind the MBK mall, eat street food for 1 euro, look for some vintage jerseys in the labyrinth of Chatuchak market, try to pick up the cheerleaders during games, and chitchat about English Premier League supporters of Arsenal, Man United and Liverpool.

Above is my first ever directed video. You can find my photo report below – tracing my journey inside Bangkok’s football culture.

Few years ago, I watched a video about the story of a football club based in a floating village in the middle of the sea in Thailand: Panyee FC. The documentary tells that the kids there loved to watch football on tv but they had nowhere to play because there isn’t place enough on the island. Whatever, they decided to build their own football playground… on stilts with only wooden planks. You can see the rest of the story in the video below.
On my list to do in my life before I die, visiting Koh Panyee was definitly well placed and highlighted in neon. I had absolutely to set foot on this pitch. Now it’s done and it is probably the most incredible playground I never played.
Here some pictures of Panyee FC, one of the most famous football club in Thailand located in a muslim fishing village on a island of Thailand.

When best of both worlds met each other. We don’t need to tell you about Michael Jordan, the greatest Basketball Player of all time for many of fans, who created an empire with his name. More than a brand, it’s an icon for the sport, sneaker and street culture. Brazilian Neymar Jr is one of the best Football Player and probably the most marketable with Paul Pogba at the moment. Hope and hero for all the brazilian people, last summer he won the gold medal at the Olympic Games for the first time in the history of the country.
When the American brand Nike gathers two icons of their own discipline for a collaboration, it’s necessarily a f**** good idea. You will find below some pictures of the Nike Hypervenomx Proximo Neymar x Jordan. Jumpman logo is plastered on the heel and upon the sole. Number 10 on the lateral side of the left boot and number 23 on the right boot, respectively the iconic numbers of Neymar and Michael Jordan. It should be noted that it is the first time Jordan Brand has launched a complete collection for an athlete who is not endorsed by Jordan Brand.
